Status.city provides local condition boards and optional Morning Snapshot emails using public data sources.
What we collect
- You can use Status.city without creating an account.
- If you subscribe to Morning Snapshot emails, we collect your email address and the city or cities you subscribe to.
- We store unsubscribe tokens so you can unsubscribe from one city or all Status.city emails.
- Standard server logs, such as IP address and browser details, may be processed temporarily for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes.
How data is used
- Email addresses are used to send requested Morning Snapshot emails.
- Subscription data is used to manage city subscriptions and unsubscribe requests.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use email addresses for unrelated marketing.
Public data sources
- Status.city uses public and official sources where possible, including weather, air quality, transportation, airport, and UV data providers.
- Displayed information may be delayed, unavailable, or changed by the source provider.
External links
Status.city links to third-party websites, such as transportation agencies and airport flight-status pages. Those sites are outside of Status.city control and may have different privacy practices.
Unsubscribing
Every Morning Snapshot email includes unsubscribe links. You may unsubscribe from a single city or from all Status.city emails.
